Consultations

When you request a consultation we will first have a free triage call to learn more about the client, the level of care that may be needed, and the urgency of Medicaid qualification. Then based on the triage call we will schedule an consultation. In your consultation we will go through questions more in depth to get a clear understanding of your situation, your needs and your goals. We will provide the different care options available to accomplish your goals without impoverishing yourself. In your consultation we will…

  • Clarify medicaid issues impacting you or your loved one.
  • Explain the differences between Medicare, Supplemental Insurance and Medicaid.
  • Introduce the concepts of how Medicaid authorizes care.
  • Refer you or your loved one to individuals who will help solve your issues other than Medicaid (legal, social, medical, etc.).
  • Assess the level of care that you or your loved one needs.
  • Identify home care needs and review family dynamics.
  • Discover the impact of elder law issues and provide the resources to help understand the legal complexities that may be involved.
  • Explain how the Medicare and Medicaid programs work
  • Clarify the type of Medicaid needed and identify if and how one may qualify for benefits.
  • How to use a Pooled Income Trust to pay bills and achieve Medicaid eligibility.
  • Review any current planning in place and how it impacts any possible strategies.
  • Create an achievable plan of action.
  • Offer you “Peace of Mind” knowing you have a quality care plan.
